December Scrapbook Events

You're invited to scrapbook with me at my home on Wed., December 4th or Wed., December 11th at no cost.  I'll make a pot of soup and you may bring your projects from 9:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m.  Working?  Come after work to relax and unwind. 

Upcoming workshops :

Dec. 10th- 1:00-4:00 or 6:30-9:30     Sparkle and Shine:  I will provide the Sparkle and Shine paper pieces cut,  the Silver Shimmer Trim, and silver metal flower  to create the 4 "Believe" and "Joy" scrapbook pages pictured, as well as my stamp set(s) and stamp pads for you to use. You may use your own embellishments or else purchase some from me, if desired.

Dec. 18th- 1:00-4:00 or 6:30-9:30  Frosted WS on the Go:  Create the 4 scrapbook pages with precut pieces from the Frosted paper pack and my stamp pads and stamp set.  Embellish as desired.

December 30th-1:00-4:00 or 6:30-9:30 Sparkle and Shine WS on the Go:  Create the 4 scrapbook pages with precut pieces from the Sparkle and Shine paper pack and my stamp pads and stamp set.  Embellish as desired.

 

I decided to use some Whisper cardstock as the background for this layout instead and save the Ruby cardstock provided for a future project.

Cost is $20 for workshops, payable in advance or $15 with a $20 purchase, or purchase your own WS on the Go Kit and either you or I can cut out your pieces and the class is free for those.  Please bring scissors, tape runner, a straight edge, if desired, pop up dots, and your Versa Mat, if you have one, for stamping on.  If you are unable to attend, but would like to make any of the projects shown, we can make other arrangements.

Layout Using the CTMH Sparkle and Shine Paper Packet and the Cricut Artbooking Cartridge

 

 

The ornaments and the title, "Joy," were cut out with the new Cricut Artbooking cartridge.  I embellished each ornament at the top with the Silver Shimmer Trim (Z1799).  The title was cut out of Twilight cardstock and could be placed on either page, depending on the placement of your pictures.  Further embellishments included Clear Sparkles (Z1752) and Red Glitter Gel, along with the Lagoon Paradise Assortment Twine (Z1702) and a silver metal flower.

I absolutely love the CTMH Huntington paper pack for Fall and other pictures.  The paper is rich in color, but will still allow your photographs to stand out.  This layout is featured in the Fall/Winter catalog and I just had to create it. The photos don't do this layout justice.  If you would like to do this workshop with me, please let me know or return to my blog for class and free crop dates to work on your own projects.

October Stamp of the Month- Sandanavian Wishes

I made these cards using the October Stamp of the Month, "Scandinavian Wishes," S1310A,  the beautiful "Frosted" paper packet, X7175B, and the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge, Z1686.  The third card's background paper was created with a stamp in the set and I stamped floral stripes on white daisy cardstock with the ruby stamp pad.  I love this set!
