November Stamp of the Month Team Bloghop

Glad you're visiting us for this month' blog hop.  Whether you came from Sandra's blog or started here, I hope you enjoy our artwork using the November Stamp of the Month, "It's the Little Things."  This stamp set includes a variety of flowers, centers, leaves and three great sentiments to make your card-making, scrapbook pages, or projects extra special. I used some of the new stamp pad colors to make the flowers and leaves and the CTMH Corner Rounder to scallop the edge of the card. The Topiary Ribbon gave the card a nice finishing touch, along with a little bling! I

Team Blog Hop-Autumn Splendor

Welcome to the Pineapple Paper Artists' Team Blog Hop, "Autumn Splendor." You may have come from  Martha's blog, or just be starting here. I decided to use the stamp set from the Pathfinding WSOTG kit to make a card, since I liked the kit and stamps so much. I used New England Ivy for the base and layered Olive, Barn Red and White Daisy to form the mat.  I stamped the spray of leaves and then stamped it again in several colors so that I could cut out and add the fall leaves randomly to the spray. The pumpkin was stamped on the coordinating Cricut shape and then I sponged the stem  in olive.  A little bling on the leaves and the card seemed complete.

School Days

Welcome to the Pineapple Paper Artists' September blog Hop, "School Days".  Whether you have come from Harriet's blog or have started here, I hope you enjoy our artwork and are inspired to create some of your own.  I chose to share my WSOTG of "Chalk it Up" with pictures of my friends and I enjoying a trip to London.  I borrowed Amy's stamp set from the kit and just purchased the paper pack and embellishments.  Being a retired teacher, I couldn't envision using the saying, "Too Cool for School" since school is supposed to be a good thing, right?!  Then I started to think outside the box about the many pictures that I haven't scrapped yet of trips to Europe with a group of my teacher friends while on school breaks.  These pictures are too cool to have been taken while in school, so now I am going to buy this kit! I love the Chalk it Up puffy stickers, Z3009 and you get so many of them. They can be used with most any paper and add that little something where you need a pop. The black striped twill ribbon, Z1988 is also versatile and and goes well with the CTMH "Scaredy Cat" paper pack, as well.  My photos don't do justice to the new color, flaxen.  I'm really liking it with my outdoor shots.

September Stamp of the Month Team Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pineapple Paper Artists' September SOTM  Blog Hop featuring the "Forever Yours" stamp set which can be yours for $17.95 or for $5 with a $50 purchase this month. Whether you started here or with Amy's  blog, I hope you enjoy our artwork. I chose to use the Brushed Paper Packet from the Close to My Heart Annual Inspirations Catalog to create a layout of a family reunion that took place in Connecticut.  I love how these papers complement the beautiful summer colors of my pictures. I stamped another tree using pear to cut out a few leaves and add it to my tree, to create dimension. I also made my own printed canary paper by using the miniature hearts stamp that is part of the set.
